Chip and cracks are most of the times fixed with special glue. Sometimes it’s just a little piece , but there are hugely damaged furniture that are being put together with glue. Using the glue the broken pieces are glued back and looking brand new after sanding. There are also broken tiles and the glue is used as well. Epoxy is the glue/material used to fix and fill the cracks. The colors of the epoxy are matched with the stone. Applied to the stone, smoothed out, and there would be a fixed tile after it’s dried.
